Project Manager

Versar Global Solutions is headquartered in Washington, DC, providing full mission lifecycle solutions for government and commercial customers. The Project Manager will lead the planning and execution of a national geospatial data-production effort, managing project schedules, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring quality deliverables.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full project lifecycle, including schedule development, task sequencing, staffing coordination, progress tracking, risk management, and delivery oversight
• Coordinate source data review, inventory crosswalk development, pilot dataset approval, national production, quality assurance, validation, and final publication-ready delivery
• Serve as the primary management interface with Government stakeholders, the COR, technical reviewers, and internal production staff to ensure timely decision-making, issue resolution, and alignment with approved methodology and scope

Requirements:

• At least five years of experience managing geospatial data-production projects of comparable complexity
• Demonstrated experience with schedule management, quality control, risk management, stakeholder coordination, technical deliverable review, and production documentation
• Highly organized, technically conversant in geospatial production workflows, and comfortable leading multidisciplinary teams through complex source-data ambiguity, Government adjudication, and incremental delivery cycles
• Ability to translate technical requirements into executable work plans, maintain accountability across production teams, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Must be proficient in English, both written and verbal, to ensure effective communication and collaboration
• Successful results of pre-employment screenings, including federal background check, MVR, and drug screen
• Comply with company drug and alcohol policy
• Be authorized to work in the US or will be authorized by the successful candidate's start date
• Experience supporting Government, maritime, infrastructure, emergency management, transportation, environmental, or enterprise geospatial programs is preferred
