Technical Sales Manager (Key Account Manager)

Basler Inc. is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager (Key Account Manager) to drive revenue growth through OEM Sales, Key Account Management, and New Business Development across the Midwest region. This role focuses on selling innovative Machine Vision, Industrial Imaging, and Vision Systems solutions to Automated Machine Builders, OEMs, and strategic end users in the Industrial Automation and Factory Automation markets.

Responsibilities:

• Drive Regional Sales growth by achieving or exceeding assigned quotas through a combination of Territory Sales, Key Account Manager responsibilities, and New Business Development initiatives
• Identify and pursue profitable opportunities with OEMs, Automated Machine Builders, and end users in Industrial Automation and Factory Automation markets
• Expand existing Strategic Accounts while developing new customer relationships through effective Technical Sales methodologies
• Execute Design-In Sales strategies by working closely with customers to integrate Basler solutions into new equipment and systems
• Develop trusted relationships with key stakeholders at OEMs, system integrators, and manufacturing organizations
• Utilize Consultative Selling and Solution Selling techniques to understand customer challenges and recommend appropriate Machine Vision, Industrial Imaging, and Vision Systems solutions
• Present the value of Basler's portfolio, including Industrial Cameras, Sensors, Optics, and advanced Inspection Systems
• Develop a strong understanding of customer applications involving Manufacturing Technology, Automation Equipment, and machine vision solutions
• Support customers with technical evaluations, product selection, proof-of-concept activities, and application development
• Collaborate with engineering and product management teams to support customer requirements and market opportunities
• Maintain accurate forecasts, opportunity pipelines, and customer records within Salesforce CRM
• Provide market intelligence regarding competitive activity, emerging technologies, and growth opportunities in Industrial Automation, Factory Automation, and Machine Vision markets
• Coordinate resources across North American and global teams to support customer success and business growth

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three to five years of experience in Technical Sales, OEM Sales, Regional Sales, or Business Development
• Proven success managing Strategic Accounts and delivering growth through B2B Sales initiatives
• Experience selling products or solutions related to Industrial Automation, Factory Automation, Machine Vision, Industrial Imaging, Vision Systems, or related technologies
• Strong Consultative Selling and Solution Selling abilities
• Demonstrated success in identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities
• Experience utilizing Salesforce CRM for pipeline management and forecasting
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills across technical and executive audiences
• Ability to work independently in a Remote Midwest sales territory and travel approximately 40%
