Social Media Marketing Intern

Planova Media unites strategy, creativity, and local execution to deliver end-to-end marketing solutions for global and emerging brands in the U.S. market. The Social Media Marketing Intern will support the planning, creation, and publishing of content across key social media platforms, assist with daily content calendars, and engage online communities.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating content for LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and Xiaohongshu (RED)
• Research social media trends, viral topics, and competitor strategies
• Help develop content calendars and campaign ideas
• Create basic graphics using Canva or other AI design tools
• Write captions and optimize hashtags
• Support short-form video production and editing
• Monitor social media performance and prepare simple reports
• Collaborate with the marketing team on client projects
• Explore and utilize AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, Canva AI, etc.) to improve content creation

Requirements:

• Passion for social media and digital marketing
• Strong English writing skills
• Familiar with TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and RED
• Self-motivated, organized, and eager to learn
• Chinese language skills
• Experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
• Basic video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Pro, etc.)
• Marketing, Communications, Business, or related majors
