Epic Hospital / Professional Billing Analyst ** Part Time | 100% Remote **

Overview:

Our client, a Medical Center facility under the aegis of a California Public Ivy university and one of largest health delivery systems in California, seeks accomplished 2 roles (Epic Hospital Billing Analyst & Epic Professional Billing Analyst).

*** Location: San Francisco, CA 94158 (100% Remote)

*** Duration: 26 weeks contract w/ possibility of extension

Pay Rate: No cap provided by client; rate will be depending upon experience.

Notes:

• Part Time roles (20 hours per week).
• 100% Remote role.
• Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM Pacific Time business hours.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 year of related experience.
• Well-rounded Epic Hospital Billing or Professional Billing Experience.
• Epic certification in Hospital Billing Administration or Professional Billing Administration.
• Knowledge of systems and functions, including design, development, implementation, user support and training, maintenance, quality assurance, and system testing and evaluation.
• Strong problem-resolution skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose problems, and develop, test, and implement appropriate and effective solutions in a timely manner.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively, train, support, and work collaboratively with users of financial clinical information systems at all professional and technical levels.
• Detail oriented, with proven organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and see projects through to completion on deadline.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to convey technical information and instructions to all levels of clinical applications users in a specific, clear, and concise manner.
• Strong analytical skills and knowledge in documentation and reporting, with the ability to design and execute tests, analyze system performance data, and produce substantive reports and analyses.
• Ability to work with senior staff and managers, serving as a technical resource and providing advice and counsel on issues of functionality, efficiency, cost-effectiveness, policy, and performance.
• Able to run chronicles queries/create reporting subset.
• Strong Excel skills to create import templates, pivot tables, vlookup queries, etc.
• Strong Reporting Workbench & SlicerDicer reports experience.
• Support and integration with export/import vendor files.
• Core HB functionality like system-action, work-queues, DNBs, batch jobs, cost center assignment, etc.
• Translating knowledge of best-practice Hospital Billing design, build, and testing techniques during ongoing support phases.
• Epic Expected Reimbursement Contracts Build Knowledge.
• Epic Patient Estimate knowledge.
