Senior Azure Technical Architect – AI & Architecture Engineering

Location: Hybrid (Newark, NJ)

Duration: 12 months 

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Solution, Technical, or Cloud Architecture.
• Strong experience designing and implementing Azure-based enterprise solutions.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of enterprise architecture, application modernization, and architecture governance.
• Experience consulting and influencing multiple engineering teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

AI & Architecture Engineering

• Promote AI-first architecture practices across the SDLC.
• Identify opportunities to automate architecture governance and engineering workflows.
• Design AI-enabled architecture solutions and reusable AI skills.
• Leverage tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, and AI-assisted development platforms.
• Support initiatives involving Agentic AI, Prompt Engineering, MCP (Model Context Protocol), and AI-powered architecture automation, with an understanding of enterprise integration and deployment patterns.
• Analyze existing SDLC and engineering processes and identify opportunities for AI-driven automation and self-service enablement.
• Build scalable capabilities that reduce manual architecture support, governance overhead, and engineering process friction.
