Software Engineer III (C++ / AI Development)

Location: Texas (Preferred) or Atlanta, GA
Duration: 9+ Months Contract (Likely Extension)
Work Model: 100% Onsite (5 Days/Week)

Job Summary

We are looking for a Software Engineer III with strong Modern C++ development experience and hands-on expertise in AI-assisted software development. The ideal candidate will have experience using Claude, Python, and multi-agent AI systems to build, validate, and optimize software solutions. This role requires a quality-first mindset with the ability to review, debug, and verify AI-generated code while following modern software engineering practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience
• Strong proficiency in Modern C++
• Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD)
• Hands-on experience with Claude AI in software development
• Strong Python scripting and automation skills
• Experience working with Multi-Agent/Agentic AI workflows and orchestration
• Ability to review, debug, and validate AI-generated code
• Experience with AI-driven or Spec-Driven Development workflows
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Skills

• OpenAI tools or GitHub Copilot CLI
• Payments/POS or certification domain experience
• Experience working in compliance or regulated environments
