Social Media Marketing Intern

House of EdTech is India’s fastest-growing multi-brand education company, focused on delivering practical, career-transforming skills to over 3 million working professionals. The intern will support daily social media operations, including drafting posts and scheduling updates, while also assisting with community-building initiatives and social media campaigns.

Responsibilities:

• Support daily social media operations
• Drafting posts
• Designing basic visual content
• Scheduling updates across platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and X (Twitter)
• Monitoring engagement
• Responding to comments
• Supporting community-building initiatives
• Assisting with social media campaigns and collaborations
• Help track performance metrics
• Conduct competitor and trend research
• Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to maintain brand voice and consistency

Requirements:

• Strong interest in social media management, content creation, and digital marketing, with familiarity across major platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, X)
• Basic skills in copywriting and visual content design, with the ability to create engaging captions, posts, and simple graphics or short-form videos
• Comfort with using social media scheduling tools and analytics dashboards to track performance and optimize content
• Ability to research trends, competitor activity, and audience preferences, and translate insights into actionable ideas
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and strong organizational abilities
• Ability to work on-site in Remote, OR, collaborate effectively within a team, and manage multiple tasks with deadlines
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or certification in marketing, communications, media, or a related field
• Interest in education, career-focused learning, and topics such as AI, finance, productivity, or sports analytics
