Sales Development Representative

OpenObserve is a fast-growing, developer-forward observability platform helping engineering teams simplify logs, metrics, and traces while dramatically reducing the cost and complexity of traditional observability tools. They are seeking a Sales Development Representative who thinks creatively and can build a pipeline through various channels, while collaborating closely with sales and marketing teams.

Responsibilities:

• Prospect into DevOps, Engineering, Cloud & Infrastructure leaders
• Build pipeline through phone, email, LinkedIn, events, communities, and whatever creative channels actually work
• Use buying signals, research, personalization, AI, and modern sales tools to identify the right opportunities
• Test new messaging, tools, and outbound strategies instead of blindly following a playbook
• Work closely with the CRO, Sales, and Marketing to help shape OpenObserve's outbound motion

Requirements:

• Have 2 + years of SDR/BDR experience
• Have creativity! Out of the box thinking that is effective!
• Know how to research an account and create outreach that doesn't look like it was sent to 5,000 people
• Experiment with new tools and prospecting strategies
• Are curious, resourceful, competitive, and comfortable figuring things out
• Thrive in an early-stage startup where you're expected to bring ideas to the table
• Have sold DevTools, Observability, Cloud, Infrastructure, Kubernetes, Cybersecurity, or technical SaaS — big plus!
