Senior QA Automation Engineer – Healthcare (EDI / Medicaid / Medicare / PBM)

They are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to design and maintain automated test scripts, validate healthcare workflows, and improve testing processes in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium with C#
• Perform functional, regression, integration, API, and database testing
• Validate Healthcare workflows related to EDI, Medicaid, Medicare, PBM, Claims, Eligibility, Provider, and Member data
• Validate EDI transaction processing and data integrity
• Develop and maintain reusable automation frameworks
• Write and execute complex SQL queries for backend data validation
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners in an Agile environment
• Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution
• Continuously improve automation coverage and testing processes

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in QA Automation and Software Testing
• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium Automation using C#
• Proficiency in C#, .NET Framework, Java, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Experience developing automation frameworks using NUnit, MSTest, or SpecFlow
• Strong experience in Functional, Regression, Integration, and End-to-End Testing
• Experience testing EDI transactions (X12 837, 835, 270/271, 276/277, 278)
• Strong Healthcare domain experience with Medicaid, Medicare, PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Management), Healthcare Claims, Eligibility, Benefits, Provider, and Member systems
• Excellent hands-on experience writing complex SQL queries for database validation
• Experience with API testing using Postman, RestSharp, or similar tools
• Proficiency with Git or other version control systems
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and QA methodologies
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
• Healthcare Payer domain
• Medicaid MMIS, Medicare, or PBM projects
• EDI X12 transaction testing
• CI/CD pipelines and test automation best practices
