Systems Development Engineer

Pinnacle Funding is a dynamic, growing company looking for a Systems Development Engineer to help build and scale their backend infrastructure. In this role, you will work closely with the CTO on system architecture, build custom APIs, and manage third-party integrations to ensure smooth business operations.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain custom backend APIs
• Ensure seamless connectivity across internal systems
• Work under the CTO, executing on architectural direction and assigned system tasks
• Contribute to the design and scalability of core systems
• Own and manage integrations with external platforms and services
• Troubleshoot and maintain existing integration pipelines

Requirements:

• Strong experience in backend development
• Strong foundations in JavaScript
• Proficiency in TypeScript and Node/Bun-based environments
• Solid understanding of SQL and relational database concepts
• Experience with React, Tailwind, and Vite
• Ability to work independently and collaborate closely with senior leadership
• Experience with Cloudflare's developer and security products is a plus
