Working Student Risk and Compliance - Asset Management (f/m/d)

JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

As part of the Risk and Compliance Team at AAM, you will be responsible for coordinating and contributing to risk and compliance processes and projects with a focus on leveraging the use of new technologies within the  team and across our international organization.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be responsible for providing reliable and practical support including contributing to important initiatives and projects, with a focus on identifying and implementing use cases for the application of new technologies to  enhance the efficiency of our activities and processes. Examples of areas and tasks which you will support are:

• Portfolio and enterprise risk – you will be actively participating and taking responsibility for the analysis of data, automation of processes, and preparation of presentations and reports.
• Internal and external rules and regulations – you will work on the application of AI tools to analyze internal policies  and  procedures  as  well  as  regulatory  standards  to  summarize  requirements  and  identify commonalities and differences.
• Research  of  and  contribution to  Investment  Strategy  Risk  Profiles – you  will  conduct research  and contribute to the Investment Strategy Risk profiles through identification of data and developments by processing such data.
• Further enhancement of AAM Risk and Compliance Team procedures – you will actively contribute by making proposals for the use of new technologies and being responsible to achieve implementation of your proposals.

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• Studies in informatics, business administration or related fields. 
• A strong interest in emerging technologies is required. Initial experience with business analytics tools (e.g., Power BI) and AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude) would be an advantage. 
• Understanding of Asset Management, Risk Management and Compliance would be an advantage. 
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills; German language skills are a plus. 
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise sound and balanced judgement. 
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure as part of a team. 
• High service-orientation, reliability, and excellent interpersonal skills. 
• Willingness to innovate, learn and actively contribute to the success of the Risk and Compliance Team and AAM.
