Description:

 

• Manages office activities for the Vice President and/or President without Supervision.
• Directs preparation of records such as agenda, notices, minutes and, presentations for Senior Management Meetings, Senior Management Workshops, and supplier visits.
• Organizes communication activities throughout the department: TS-4 Newsletter, Plantwide mutilation campaign, promoting safety and organizing Assembly Board content at main and west entrance.
•  Organizes roundtables and documents notes for feedback to Managers.
• Arranges complex and detailed travel plans and itineraries, and compiles documents for travel-related meetings.
• Prepares routine and advanced correspondence including memoranda, letters and reports.
• Expedites follow-up activities for the Vice President and President.
• Processes Purchase Orders and requisitions in SAP and prepares the Vice President's office budget.
• Screens incoming phone calls and correspondence.
• Prioritizes correspondence and responds independently.
• Interfaces with all organization levels at BMW AG.
• Understands and models VPS (Value Added Production System) Principles and concepts of Standard Work and Problem Solving.
• Adheres to 5S and Safety Standards and Principles.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.

 

Requirements:

 

• AA/AS degree in Business Administration/Office Management or the equivalent of 2 years experience in Business Administration.
• 5+ years of office management or administrative support, managing tasks independently and working with confidential information.
• Expert verbal and written communication skills in German and English
• Advanced knowledge of Windows, SAP and miscellaneous office equipment
• Advanced experience applying organizational skills
• Advanced experience in handling of a variety of confidential information
• Independent judgment and initiative Knowledge of BMW AG and Plant Spartanburg Policies and Procedures
