Product Design Lead

Violet is on a mission to create more equitable health care and is looking for an exceptional Product Design Lead to join their team. This role involves defining user needs, developing an industry-defining design system, and collaborating with various teams to enhance user experience in healthcare.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with members across the team to define the needs of our users, including care delivery organizations, care delivery professionals, and more
• Build and champion best-in-class design practices focused on ease of use for our users, including excellent documentation and scalable systems to allow us to quickly implement and evolve our product design
• Work closely with product, sales, and operations teams to understand user needs and company goals to efficiently reach success
• Work closely with product and engineering to design, prototype, and scale new platform functionality
• Our primary focus is to educate all care delivery professionals to be more inclusive and we believe that design is a must-have to effectively upskill professionals to be better humans

Requirements:

• Product designer with 3+ years of experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Eager to work with a cross-functional team to solve complex problems within health care
• Experience working in small teams practicing agile development
• Knowledge of the healthcare industry is preferred but not required
• Experience working with Figma and Storybook
• Experience translating design principles into prototypes, starting with no-code tools like WebFlow
