Senior Global Event Manager, Content Operations & Production

Twilio is a company shaping the future of communications and empowering developers worldwide. They are seeking a Senior Global Event Manager for Content Operations & Production to lead the operational and production strategy for their global events, ensuring polished and scalable live experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Set the content operations and production strategy across Twilio’s priority Global Events portfolio, with primary focus on SIGNAL and SKO
• Lead SIGNAL breakout content operations and production, including CFP, session intake and selection workflows, agenda and speaker data, deck readiness, technical checks, Speaker Ready Room, and onsite delivery
• Partner on SIGNAL General Session production, providing senior leadership across technical planning, rehearsals, vendor coordination, and show readiness
• Own SKO production strategy and delivery, including production-partner scope, technical planning, budget oversight, rehearsals, and onsite execution
• Lead production agencies and vendors across priority programs, setting scope, standards, budgets, deliverables, performance expectations, and escalation paths
• Own the event content systems and technology strategy, including Sessionboard and related platforms, and ensure accurate, connected data across agenda, speaker, content, and production workflows
• Establish scalable operating models for content intake, agenda management, deck delivery, production handoffs, reporting, and onsite execution
• Operationalize the speaker communications and experience standards established by the Sr. Global Event Manager, Content Strategy & Speaker Experience through systems, processes, vendors, and onsite workflows
• Serve as the content and production lead for SIGNAL World Tour in partnership with the Flagship Events Lead, providing strategic oversight of production planning, content operations, agency delivery, and Tier 1 onsite execution
• Make senior-level decisions and recommendations across production approach, scope, budget, resourcing, technology, operational feasibility, risk, and attendee experience
• Serve as the senior escalation point for content operations, production, systems, and vendor risks, driving timely resolution across cross-functional teams
• Build reusable production, technology, data-governance, and content-operations standards that scale across flagship, internal, regional, and executive programs
• Lead post-event evaluations across production, systems, agency performance, and operational delivery, turning insights into improvements across the portfolio
• Direct agencies, vendors, contractors, and supporting resources while retaining accountability for quality, budget, and final delivery

Requirements:

• 7+ years in event production, content operations, event technology, or large-scale B2B events
• Proven leadership of complex event production across multiple programs, stages, vendors, stakeholders, and deadlines
• Demonstrated ownership of production strategy, technical planning, budgets, scopes of work, vendor management, risk, and onsite delivery
• Deep knowledge of breakout content operations, including CFP, session intake, agenda management, deck readiness, technical checks, and Speaker Ready Room
• Hands-on proficiency with event content systems and agenda platforms, including session data, speaker records, reporting, and production handoffs
• Strong command of General Session and breakout production, rehearsals, show flow, livestream or recorded content, and onsite execution
• Sound judgment when making tradeoffs across scope, budget, timeline, technology, production quality, and attendee experience
• Strong cross-functional leadership, stakeholder management, and operational decision-making skills
• A track record of building scalable operating models, governance, standards, and playbooks
• Ability to lead agencies, vendors, contractors, and supporting resources while retaining accountability for final delivery
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally
• Background leading production or content operations for a global roadshow or regional event portfolio
• Familiarity with large-scale technology, SaaS, developer, customer, sales, or executive events
• Hands-on knowledge of Sessionboard, Swoogo, RainFocus, Airtable, Cvent, or similar platforms
• Fluency in production budgeting, vendor negotiations, and change-order management
• Strong partnership skills across Product Marketing, Customer Marketing, Brand, Creative, Legal, Sales Enablement, regional marketing, and executive stakeholders
• Knowledge of livestream, broadcast, recording, and on-demand content workflows
• Comfort operating in a fast-paced, highly matrixed global environment
