Project Manager

Nordic Global is committed to creating an inclusive environment and is seeking a Strategic Initiatives Project Manager. This role supports the planning, execution, delivery, and change management of high-priority enterprise initiatives, partnering with cross-functional leaders to translate strategy into actionable plans.

Responsibilities:

• Supports business leaders in developing and prioritizing the roadmap for internal initiatives
• Serves as the central point of contact to oversee all phases of the project, including project initiation, planning and execution, monitoring and controlling, and closing
• Developing, managing, and adjusting project plans based on scope, timeline, and cost implications
• Communicating effectively with all project stakeholders including preparing status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information
• Escalating key issues and risks and providing recommendations to facilitate decision making
• Following processes and utilizing project management tools such as templates and software
• May be responsible for business analysis tasks such as, but not limited to, eliciting and documenting requirements or coordinating testing if an analyst is not assigned to a specific project
• Working on projects that may be assigned on an ad hoc basis and may assist other corporate initiatives as necessary

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
• 3+ years of project management experience involving multiple business units and IT required
• Track record of success driving cross-functional waterfall and agile-based projects
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, synthesize information, and create executive-ready updates
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
• Aptitude to acclimate quickly to new project assignments and adapt to new working environments
• Ability to lead project teams of various sizes and see them through to completion
• Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Visio and SharePoint and various project management tools/applications (i.e. Smartsheets, ClickUp)
• Strong written and verbal communication, including the ability to adapt communication styles and strategies to the audience
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
