WHAT IS THE PAY?

• The hourly wage is $24.95.

Responsibilities:

• Assists in accomplishing the set goals and objectives of the organization. Works effectively with the team by abiding by core values and best practices. Meets expectations and is accountable for achieving results.
• Operates a stand-up reach forklift (about 35ft high) to receive, slot, and replenish products within the warehouse and overhead inventory locations.
• Handles newly received products and slots in designated locations and relocates products to the pick slots safely, effectively, and efficiently.
• Receives and inspects inbound products by checking quality and quantity for accuracy and ensuring the product is correctly tagged and labeled for put away.
• Assists with clerical functions to track, record, and document incoming products accurately within systems and follows set policies and procedures.
• Utilizes the on-board/mounted computer system to complete and regenerate new receiving tasks/moves.
• Moves and stages pallets closer to their designated inbound areas to help speed up the receiving process. Assists in feeding the inbound conveyor system of newly received products.
• Maintains warehouse cleanliness and safety standards. Maintains satisfactory performance standards. Inspects and handles basic preventive maintenance of equipment daily or as scheduled.
• Works in various controlled temperature environments and conditions (dry, freezer, & perishables areas) and assists in the prompt movement of products within high production areas.
• On-site attendance is required. Ability to work overtime to meet operational demands, as needed.
• Assists in other tasks and projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• At least one year of forklift (stand-up reach) experience is preferred.
• Ability to multitask and utilize large forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to properly lift 20lbs to 50lbs throughout work shift (occasionally lift items to 100lbs).
• Ability to work in cold and hot temperatures (-30°F to 100°F).
• Ability to perform tasks with minimal to no supervision.
• Maintains a positive attitude and working relationships with other team members, vendors, and contractors.
• Ability to navigate, operate, and use warehouse computer programs with accuracy.
