Location: Madison, WI (100% Remote within WI, occasional onsite. Must be a WI resident or willing to relocate before joining.)
Duration: 12 Months (1,800 Hours)

The State of Wisconsin is seeking a Senior Cloud Architect to serve as a technical advisor to the CISO while leading AI-driven cybersecurity and DevSecOps initiatives. This is a hands-on role focused on cloud architecture, vulnerability management, security automation, and mentoring internal teams.

Required Skills:

• Strong Cloud Architecture & DevSecOps experience
• Experience advising CISO/CIO or executive leadership
• Security Operations (SecOps) & Vulnerability Management (SI-2)
• Google SecOps, Google Threat Intelligence/VirusTotal
• Mandiant ASM, Tenable.io
• Microsoft Azure Arc
• GitHub & GitHub Advanced Security
• Ansible Tower
• Splunk
• AI Security tools (Gemini, Anthropic or similar)
• Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)
• Experience in large enterprise or government environments preferred
