Senior Site Reliability Engineer

World Wide Technology is a leading technology solution provider, and they are seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer. The role involves supporting mission-critical, high-traffic environments, focusing on incident management, troubleshooting, and mentoring other engineers.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or in a similar role supporting mission-critical, high-traffic environments
• Strong programming experience with web technologies such as: Vue, Angular, or React; NodeJS, Python, Go, or Java
• Proven experience with monitoring, alerting, and incident management for complex systems
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues, driving root cause analysis and implementing effective fixes
• Thorough understanding of all stages of software development
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Experience leading or mentoring other engineers and influencing technical direction
• Excellent communication skills, with a track record of building relationships, educating peers, and influencing technical direction
• In depth understanding and passion for excellence in the WWT Core Values
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in computer science or Management Information Systems; A combination of education, training and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
