DevSecOps Cloud Engineer

Guidehouse is an employer offering technology and consulting services. The DevSecOps Cloud Engineer will support CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code development, cloud monitoring, operational processes, and automation initiatives across AWS cloud environments.

Responsibilities:

• Support CI/CD pipeline administration, maintenance, and enhancement activities across AWS cloud environments
• Assist with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) development using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools
• Monitor cloud environments and respond to operational alerts and incidents
• Support automated deployment, patching, backup, and recovery processes
• Participate in implementation of automation initiatives designed to reduce operational toil and improve deployment consistency

Requirements:

• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse
• US Citizenship is contractually required
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
• Minimum of ONE (1)+ year of work experience
• Experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or systems administration experience
• Basic understanding of AWS services, networking, and security concepts
• Experience with Git, scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash), and CI/CD tools
• Travel Required:

Up to 10%

• Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred
• AWS Cloud Practitioner or AWS Associate Certification
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or container technologies
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk, CloudWatch, Datadog, or Grafana
• Experience working in Agile environments
• Exposure to Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
