Lead Software Engineer

InfoStride is seeking an experienced Software Engineer for a contractor role focused on backend integrations and procurement workflows. The Lead Software Engineer will design and implement scalable integration solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance procurement-related processes.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and support backend integrations for Zip (I2C) and related procurement workflows
• Develop scalable, secure, and maintainable integration solutions between Zip and internal enterprise systems
• Partner with technical, procurement, and cross-functional teams to understand integration requirements and deliver effective solutions
• Analyze existing business processes, identify inefficiencies or bottlenecks, and recommend improvements through automation and systems integration
• Support end-to-end procurement and intake workflows, ensuring backend systems align with business requirements
• Translate functional and operational requirements into technical designs and implementation plans
• Troubleshoot integration issues, monitor system performance, and ensure reliability of data flows across platforms
• Contribute to documentation, testing, deployment, and handoff of solutions to internal teams

Requirements:

• Must have Experience with Zip Intake-to-Procure (I2C) implementations or integrations
• Strong experience in backend engineering and enterprise systems integration
• Proven experience building and supporting integrations for procurement, intake, or workflow platforms such as Zip, Coupa, SAP, Ariba, or similar enterprise tools
• Experience working with APIs, middleware, event-driven architectures, and system-to-system integrations
• Strong understanding of procure-to-pay (P2P), intake, approval, and procurement workflows
• Ability to work across technical and business teams to define requirements and implement practical solutions
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze existing processes and recommend streamlined technical solutions
• Experience with data mapping, transformation, validation, and synchronization across systems
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Experience integrating with finance, ERP, procurement, warehouse, or planning systems is highly desirable
