About this role

IRIUM Portugal is an innovative and growing company that offers opportunities for professional development. They are currently looking for a Senior Data Ops Engineer (ATC) to manage data operations and ensure the reliability and security of their cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

5+ years of experience as DataOps Engineer or similar role covering the most of required skills
Expertise with databases (Database: Redshift, Aurora, DynamoDB)
Expertise in Cloud architecture and key technologies (S3, EC2, Lambda, IAM, Managed Airflow, Athena, etc)
Expertise of infrastructure-as-code tools (CDK, CloudFormation)
Expertise with advance AWS Networking (VPC, Transit Gateway, PrivateLink) and securing network configuration
Experience in at least one of the programming languages such as Python, Java
Expertise Test Driven Development (TDD) and testing practices to ensure functionality, security and performance
Expertise in system integration using variety of techniques (REST API, SQS, SNS, Kinesis)
Expertise in modern development tools and practices (e.g. CI/CD, DevOps, Observability, Pair Programming)
Expertise in choosing and applying design patterns and best practices
Developing software with scale, security and reliability in mind
