Project Designer I

Concordia Group is a full-service engineering and telecom infrastructure construction firm experiencing rapid growth across the country. They are seeking an entry level AutoCAD Designer/Drafter to assist in creating architectural designs for wireless telecommunications sites.

Responsibilities:

• Complete civil and architectural designs for wireless telecommunication sites
• Analyze and understand the specific project scope of work including existing electrical power and proposed power requirements
• Perform structural mappings on rooftops and take measurements on sites and collect data from the field sufficient to perform the designs in the office side
• Identify any potential space constraints/challenges and develop a solution for the site layout
• Perform site walks with the project manager and the customer whenever needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in any Engineering field or Architecture; will consider candidates who have an AutoCAD certificate but lack an engineering degree
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is a must! Must be using AutoCAD daily to be considered proficient
• 1 - 3 years of experience with AutoCAD
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, ETC.)
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong sense of urgency; we are a fast-paced environment
• Role is not best suited for Interior or Graphic Designers
• Designing commercial or telecom structures is preferred over residential
