Software Engineer

SoTalent is a company focused on software development, seeking a cloud-focused Software Engineer. The role involves developing and maintaining cloud-native solutions, designing scalable services, and contributing to the evolution of intelligent transportation solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain AWS cloud-native applications and services
• Build scalable, highly available, and resilient solutions supporting EVP and TSP platforms
• Develop and enhance distributed systems that support large-scale transportation technology operations
• Ensure cloud architectures follow best practices for performance, security, and reliability
• Develop high-quality, maintainable, and scalable software solutions
• Participate in application design, development, testing, deployment, and support activities
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver robust software capabilities
• Contribute to architecture discussions and technology decisions
• Monitor and optimize application performance and system availability
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and implement long-term solutions
• Improve system resilience, scalability, and fault tolerance
• Support operational excellence initiatives across cloud environments
• Partner with product, engineering, and platform teams to deliver business objectives
• Participate in code reviews and technical design reviews
• Share knowledge and promote engineering best practices
• Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation initiatives

Requirements:

• Master's Degree in Computer Science
• Master's Degree in Computer Engineering
• Master's Degree in Related Technical Field
• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
