In this position, you'll seek out, nurture, and increase new opportunities throughout our Corporate Markets business. You'll foster relationships with employers and broaden existing alliances while developing innovative methods for organizations to use education to tackle workforce challenges.
This role differs from a standard business development job. Many opportunities you'll engage with won't come with a clear guide. You'll join forces with employers, colleges and universities, workforce organizations, and other collaborators to develop solutions that fulfill mutual business aims. The work could include partnerships similar to those formed with organizations like Amazon, UF Health, Goodwill, and HCA.
As the business develops, you will partner with multiple Cengage teams to spot new possibilities, craft inventive partnership plans, and help define our approach to Corporate Markets. If you take pleasure in building relationships, finding new opportunities, and turning ideas into business successes, you will find plenty of space to influence outcomes.
We're seeking an individual who is at ease working autonomously, takes pleasure in generating new opportunities, and is driven by developing something innovative within a well-established company. Experience collaborating with structured corporate entities and large-scale clients is particularly beneficial.

The full base pay range has been provided for this position. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location.
In this position, you will be eligible to participate in the company’s variable Sales incentive compensation program.
$90,000.00 - $130,000.00 USD0Target Variable Compensation:
80,000.00 USD Annual: Individual Targetannually
Actual incentive earnings are not guaranteed and may be more or less than the target amount based on achievement of performance goals and the terms of the applicable incentive compensation plan.
