Senior Sales Consultant/ Business Develoment Manager

QBS Learning is seeking an experienced and relationship-driven Business Development Manager to expand their presence within the K-12 education market. This role focuses on helping educational publishers, EdTech companies, school districts, and learning organizations enhance their content, curriculum, digital learning, assessment, and technology initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the K-12 education sector
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects through industry networking, referrals, outreach campaigns, and strategic partnerships
• Develop account growth strategies and drive revenue across new and existing clients
• Lead proposal development, RFP/RFI responses, pricing discussions, and contract negotiations
• Manage opportunities through the full sales lifecycle, from prospecting to closure
• Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers across educational publishers, EdTech organizations, school districts, curriculum providers, and learning institutions
• Understand client goals, challenges, and priorities to recommend relevant solutions and services
• Conduct business presentations, discovery discussions, and solution workshops tailored to client needs
• Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner throughout the engagement lifecycle
• Promote and position QBS capabilities across: K-12 content development and curriculum services, instructional design and digital learning solutions, assessment and learning measurement services, content accessibility and compliance solutions, educational publishing support services, learning platform implementation and integration, digital transformation initiatives for education organizations, technology, data, and AI-enabled solutions supporting teaching and learning outcomes, specialized staffing and professional services for education-focused projects
• Stay current with trends in K-12 education, educational publishing, digital learning, accessibility, and emerging technologies
• Represent QBS at education conferences, industry events, webinars, and networking forums
• Build strategic relationships that strengthen QBS's visibility and market presence

Requirements:

• Proven experience in business development, sales, partnerships, or account management within the education sector
• Strong network across K-12 education, educational publishing, curriculum providers, or EdTech organizations
• Experience selling education solutions, content services, learning products, professional services, or technology-enabled offerings
• Strong understanding of the K-12 landscape, curriculum development, digital learning, and education technology trends
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to independently manage complex sales cycles and achieve revenue targets
• Experience working with educational publishers, learning companies, school districts, or EdTech providers
• Familiarity with digital learning platforms, accessibility standards, assessment solutions, and content development workflows
• Understanding of emerging technologies, including AI and analytics, within educational environments
• Experience selling consulting or managed services within the education sector
