MES Software Engineer

DivIHN Integration Inc is seeking a MES Software Engineer to develop software solutions for manufacturing environments. The role involves building and supporting enterprise applications, working with messaging technologies, and contributing to large-scale system changes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience developing software solutions using .NET, C#, and ASP.NET
• Experience building and supporting enterprise applications using RESTful APIs and modern integration patterns
• Hands-on experience with messaging technologies such as MSMQ, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, or similar middleware
• Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Experience with source control and development tools such as Git, Azure DevOps/TFS, or similar platforms
• Strong understanding of relational databases such as Oracle or SQL Server
• Experience working in or supporting systems within a 24/7 manufacturing, industrial, or operational environment
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage complex technical work, and contribute to large-scale system changes
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams
• Experience with Siemens Opcenter Execution Designer and Portal (formerly Camstar)
• Experience working with other Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) platforms
• Experience contributing to or driving significant system implementations, upgrades, or integration initiatives
• Familiarity with TDD, CI/CD, and automated deployment practices
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar
• Experience working in a Scrum/Agile team environment
• Familiarity with modern developer productivity tools, including AI-assisted coding tools
• A track record of delivering solutions that are both technically sound and aligned with business needs
• The ability to adapt quickly, manage competing priorities, and thrive in a dynamic manufacturing environment
