Junior GenAI Developer

They are seeking a Junior GenAI Developer to help shape the future of enterprise AI by designing, developing, and deploying Generative AI solutions that drive business value across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions, supporting a growing portfolio of AI initiatives across Stantec
• Work across the full solution lifecycle, helping to build and operationalise technologies such as Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures, AI agents, multi-agent systems, and intelligent automation solutions
• Ensure that AI capabilities are delivered in a scalable, secure, and well-governed manner that aligns with enterprise architecture standards and responsible AI principles
• Define technical standards, establish architectural patterns, and guide implementation approaches
• Support the integration of AI solutions with enterprise systems, data platforms, APIs, and knowledge repositories while ensuring robust security, compliance, and governance controls are embedded throughout
• Evaluate emerging technologies, continuously exploring new opportunities to enhance Stantec’s AI capabilities and drive innovation across the business
