About this role
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing incident response and change execution.
- Driving operational KPIs, metrics, and observability.
- Leading automation initiatives and promoting DevOps/EngOps practices.
- Collaborating with global teams and vendors to resolve issues and implement solutions.
- Identifying process improvements to enhance operational stability.
- Communicating effectively with engineering, operations leaders, and partners.
This is a shift-based position:
- Schedule: Wed-Sat or Sun-Wed (10 hours per day)
- Flexibility: Occasional coverage on other days may be required
Required Expertise & Skills
- 5+ years of IT experience across server and storage infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of Red Hat Linux 7, 8, 9.
- Expertise in disk storage management.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (preferably OLVM).
- On-call coverage and incident management experience.
- Troubleshooting skills for OS, hardware, and storage issues.
- Proficiency in Shell scripting and Python; coding experience using AI is a plus.
- Experience working with enterprise-level customers and application teams.
- Knowledge of Windows, VMware, and OLVM is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with SAN/NAS/CAS storage subsystems.
- Experience with observability tools for logging, monitoring, and alerting.
