Front End Engineer II, AWS Marketplace

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a leading cloud provider, and they are seeking a Front End Engineer II to join their team. This role involves developing user-facing software for a new Generative AI application, collaborating with team members on the software development lifecycle, and ensuring high-quality user experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver software components and improvements to software features with your team’s software
• Work with stakeholders and product partners to deliver high-quality UX
• Take feature specifications and deliver working code that is maintainable and extendable
• Help provide operational support for your team and work to ensure that root causes are identified and resolved
• Participate in code reviews and daily stand-ups
• Collaborate with your team to positively impact the software quality, customer experience, and maintainability of your team’s products
• Translate functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture/design/working software solutions by working with PM, UX designers, and customers
• Code and test system components; participate in code and design reviews
• Demonstrate ownership of end-to-end code quality, system tests, functional tests, and integration
• Partner/Collaborate across teams/roles to deliver results
• Be responsible for overall system architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance
• Mentor other engineers, define the technical culture, and help grow the team
