Director of Business Development - Australia

Rainmaker Technology Corporation is pioneering a modern cloud seeding system to address water scarcity and inclement weather. They are seeking a Director of Business Development to lead their expansion strategy in Australia, focusing on building relationships, driving commercial deals, and representing the company in various forums.

Responsibilities:

• Build Rainmaker's go-to-market and account strategy for Australia, owning every deal from qualification to signature
• Build trusted relationships at federal, state, and local levels, including the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW), the Bureau of Meteorology (BoM), the Murray-Darling Basin Authority (MDBA), and the Commonwealth Environmental Water Holder (CEWH)
• Coordinate with Rainmaker’s international teams to direct Australia’s operational, regulatory, and legal workstreams, including CASA airspace access, entity formation, customs, and imports
• Hire and lead the first in-country team, and build the playbooks that let Rainmaker expand faster over time
• Represent Rainmaker in Australia in ministerial meetings, industry forums, and media
