Abnormal AI is launching Identity Threat Protection (ITP), a product aimed at detecting and disrupting multi-stage identity attacks. The Identity Specialist will serve as a technical subject matter expert, leading customer engagements and collaborating with product management and engineering to enhance the product's capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the 60-minute Identity deep-dive meeting for customers going deep on ITP, ITDR, ISPM, Identity Graph, or Adaptive Identity Reset
- Support the PoV motion for Identity/ITDR opportunities alongside senior specialists and the core AE/SE team
- Help define and validate PoV success criteria and CARE reports for identity attack scenarios
- Partner with Identity product management and engineering to stay current on capability, roadmap, and known gaps
- Contribute to the Identity threat library and competitive positioning content
- Participate in delivering technical training to SEs, AEs, PSCs, and TAMs as part of the Black Hat enablement curriculum
- Surface field feedback (win/loss themes, competitive gaps, capability requests) to senior team members for the product roadmap
Requirements:
- 5+ years of presales/Sales Engineering experience in security, with some direct exposure to identity, IAM, or ITDR or an adjacent space
- Working familiarity with Okta and/or Microsoft Entra ID architecture, including authentication flows, MFA, and conditional access
- Some experience supporting or running technical PoVs/evaluations
- Ability to explain multi-stage identity attack concepts to technical audiences, with support in translating to executive audiences
- Comfort operating cross-functionally with product, engineering, and marketing under a fast-moving, pre-GA launch timeline
- Prior experience at an identity or identity-adjacent vendor (Okta, CrowdStrike, Obsidian, AppOmni, Microsoft)
- Familiarity with SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM), DSPM, or SecOps/SIEM tooling
- Interest in building enablement content
