Full-Stack Software Engineer (Backend & AI Focus)

Dice is seeking experienced Full-Stack Software Engineers with a strong emphasis on backend development, cloud infrastructure, and applied AI. The role focuses on designing, developing, and deploying scalable backend services and AI-enabled applications.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications with a primary focus on backend services
• Build and integrate AI-powered capabilities using modern Large Language Models (LLMs) and related frameworks
• Develop cloud-native applications and services utilizing Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, test, and deploy new features
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement of development practices
• Support production environments through monitoring, troubleshooting, and ongoing optimization

Requirements:

• Strong full-stack software development experience with emphasis on backend architecture and distributed systems
• Expert-level Python development experience building scalable applications and services
• Experience with modern frontend technologies and data management, including NoSQL databases such as Firestore
• Experience integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) into production software applications
• Familiarity with agentic AI concepts, tool use, orchestration, and reasoning workflows
• Experience with Python AI frameworks such as LangChain or similar
• Demonstrated use of AI-assisted development tools to improve software engineering productivity
• Experience deploying and managing applications within Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Experience with GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and production support
• Experience designing scalable cloud-native architectures
• Familiarity with enterprise AI application development and deployment
• Experience working in highly collaborative, fast-paced software development environments
