They are seeking a Senior / Principal Product Manager to lead product strategy and execution for a fast-growing insurtech company, solving complex challenges and driving product development initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead product strategy and execution for expansion of core insurance products across new geographic markets
- Solve complex product, operational, and regulatory challenges associated with scaling financial products nationally
- Work closely with engineering, design, and cross-functional teams to scope, prototype, build, and launch new initiatives
- Drive zero-to-one product development initiatives and validate opportunities through rapid experimentation and user research
- Analyze funnel performance, customer acquisition, LTV, CAC, retention, and behavioral data to guide product decisions
- Design and improve internal tooling, workflows, and operational systems that support scalable growth
- Partner with stakeholders across claims, customer success, risk, operations, and leadership teams
- Build efficient experimentation frameworks that prioritize rapid learning over large speculative builds
- Explore future product opportunities that expand the company’s offerings within consumer financial services
Requirements:
- 10+ years of product management experience at senior, staff, principal, or product leadership levels
- Strong background in consumer technology products with demonstrated zero-to-one product experience
- Proven ability to operate autonomously in fast-moving, highly ambiguous environments
- Strong analytical product instincts with deep familiarity around metrics such as LTV, CAC, conversion funnels, and acquisition quality
- Experience leading product initiatives in startup or high-growth environments with lean teams and significant ownership
- Ability to simplify complex operational or regulatory systems into scalable product experiences
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical teams
- Demonstrated customer empathy, especially for users navigating financial complexity or underserved markets
- Comfortable operating hands-on with experimentation, QA, testing, and product execution when necessary
- Experience in regulated industries such as fintech, insurance, lending, healthcare, or payments
- Background building products for lower-income, underbanked, or financially stressed consumer segments
- Experience scaling products across multiple states, regulatory environments, or operational workflows
- Mix of startup and scaled-company product experience
- Familiarity with internal tooling, platform products, or operational systems that improve organizational scalability
- Experience working in pod-based product organizations with close engineering and design collaboration
