The Functional Business Analyst will be a key member of the ERP transformation team, responsible for supporting business process design, system configuration, testing, and deployment of Workday business processes.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather, document, and validate functional requirements
- Facilitate future-state workflow design sessions and business process discussions
- Support configuration workbook development and review activities
- Review integration requirements and assist in validation of integration design documents
- Gather and document reporting and analytics requirements
- Participate in data conversion planning, validation, and data readiness activities
- Provide recommendations regarding functional configuration decisions and best practices
- Assist with change control and configuration change request (CCR) reviews
- Support risk, issue, assumption, and dependency (RAID) management activities
- Develop end-to-end business process testing scenarios and test scripts
- Coordinate testing activities across business users, functional teams, and technical teams
- Execute system, integration, user acceptance, and regression testing activities
- Identify, document, track, and assist in resolving testing defects and data issues
- Support testing cycles, retesting efforts, and defect triage sessions
- Participate in production rehearsal and environment validation activities
- Review training materials and provide feedback to ensure business process accuracy
- Support cutover planning and execution activities
- Participate in mock cutover exercises and readiness assessments
- Assist with transactional catch-up and cutover (TCU) activities
- Support resolution of data conversion and migration issues
- Contribute to operational readiness planning and go-live preparation efforts
- Partner with training and change management teams to support end-user readiness
- Provide functional support during go-live and hypercare periods
- Assist end users with business process and system-related questions
- Analyze and troubleshoot functional issues and process break fixes
- Coordinate with technical teams to resolve integration-related issues
- Support operational issue resolution and continuous improvement efforts
- Document lessons learned and process enhancements for future releases
Requirements:
- Experience supporting ERP implementation projects through the full project lifecycle and strong knowledge of workday inventory module and configuration
- Strong experience gathering and documenting business requirements
- Experience coordinating testing and managing defect resolution
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and communication skills
- Experience with data conversion, reporting requirements, and business process documentation
- Knowledge of cutover planning, production support, and hypercare processes
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Workday Certification
- Healthcare industry experience
- Experience working with system integrators and cross-functional project teams
