Python Backend Engineer – Healthcare Claims & Oracle

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is a leading Biopharmaceutical Industry company, and they are currently seeking a Python Backend Engineer specializing in Healthcare Claims and Oracle. The role involves developing backend applications and integrating Python applications with Oracle databases.

Responsibilities:

• 5+ years of Python development experience
• Experience building enterprise or production backend applications
• Strong experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django
• Hands-on Oracle SQL and PL/SQL experience
• Experience writing complex SQL queries and optimizing performance
• Experience integrating Python applications with Oracle databases
• Healthcare claims, payer, provider, or health plan experience
• Experience with REST APIs, ETL, data validation, and reconciliation
• X12 experience: 837, 835, 834
• FHIR / HL7
• SQLAlchemy, cx_Oracle, python-oracledb
• AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD
• Airflow, Spark, Pandas, NumPy
• Power BI or Tableau
