Project Manager - Organizational Readiness, Communications and Training (Remote)

CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield is seeking a Project Manager to lead small to mid-scale projects focused on organizational readiness, communications, and training. The role involves planning, organizing, and managing projects to ensure successful delivery while collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Plans and designates project resources, prepares budgets, monitors progress, tracks schedules, mitigates risks
• Provides end to end project management support in terms of reporting, project deliverable tracking and documentation for medium-size projects. Acts as a liaison across all areas to ensure effective and efficient goals, scope, progress, and completion of projects. Coordinates issues throughout CareFirst, and externally, when necessary, to promote accurately represented information
• Evaluates implications of existing or proposed projects, programs, processes, and policies/regulations through the use of critical and creative thinking and recommends improvements
• Provides direction and motivation to project teams in a matrixed environment. Drives outcomes by fostering a collaborative culture. Manages relationships with key stakeholders, including management and vendors. Leads the execution of the project

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Business or related field OR in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience
• 3 years experience in project related field
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to use generative AI tools such as CoPilot
• Ability to use graphic design tools such as Canva
• Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally
• Ability to exercise good judgment
• Project planning and life cycle development
• Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology
