Assistant Project Manager (APM) - Commercial Solar (CONTRACT, REMOTE - PST)

Jobot is a national renewable energy provider that develops, finances, builds, and manages solar and energy storage projects. They are seeking an Assistant Project Manager for their Commercial Solar division to assist in the planning and execution of solar energy projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning, execution, and closing of various commercial solar projects
• Collaborate with Project Managers to define project objectives, set key performance metrics, and establish project plans
• Monitor and track project progress, handle any issues that arise, and ensure the project stays on schedule
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of project budgets
• Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders on project status, risks, and changes
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
• Assist in the preparation of project proposals, timeframes, and schedules
• Conduct risk management to minimize project risks
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in project management/project administrative tasks, 1+ year in the solar/renewable energy industry
• Proven experience in project management and scheduling
• Strong understanding of commercial solar projects and the renewable energy industry
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking abilities
• Proficient in project management software tools
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to work in a remote environment and manage your time effectively
• Must be located in the Mountain Standard Time or Central Standard Time zones
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field is preferred
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
