Registry Partners is seeking a CIBMTR Project Manager to coordinate and manage all aspects of CIBMTR projects. This role involves defining data management operations, supervising data managers, and ensuring high-quality abstraction through validation activities.
Responsibilities:
- Manages all abstracting and data management operations/project related activities in accordance with applicable regulatory agencies for assigned specialty area(s)
- Ensures all Project Manager/Quality Analyst instruction documents/policies/procedures are followed
- Ensures successful setup and implementation of new projects including working with each client to define project parameters/project roadmap, project expectations and requirements for the services RP will provide
- Conducts staff training on data abstraction software (including but not limited to FormsNet) and facility Electronic Medical Record System(s)
- Provides clear expectations, goals and deadlines to project team(s)
- Conducts a re-abstraction of the first/second/third forms (if applicable). Provides timely feedback and consultation as needed to data managers
- Conducts a weekly re-abstraction of a random sample of forms completed to enforce and ensure data management guidelines are being followed and interpreted accurately
- Monitors validation compliance and completion for each assigned project and staff member by utilizing internal validation reports
- Completes weekly case log verification for assigned projects to verify forms and associated documents are 100% complete. If any validation issues are noted during this review, the data manager is notified of pending corrections and corrections are verified
- Provides ongoing validation guidance and support to other team members who are abstracting, as needed
- Schedules project team's work assignments/hours to meet the needs of each project with accurate project forecasting
- Assists the Registry Services Director or Senior Vice President with providing corporate education regarding industry and/or regulatory agency changes/updates as needed
- Attends and actively participates in weekly meetings
- Prepares and submits accurate weekly reporting of project activities and tasks
- Consults industry related Q & A resources as needed for abstracting questions/clarifications as needed
- Identifies staffing needs based on workload and services being provided to the client, and recognizes additional work opportunities that may be available
- Monitors project priorities, deadlines and productivity to ensure staff work schedules and project expectations are being met
- Maintains all project related documentation
- Provides timely responses to employee and client questions and/or concerns as needed and consults with other management team members when necessary
- Proactively identifies and analyzes problems (employee and client) to ensure a successful solution. Handles challenging situations (employee and client) tactfully and professionally
- Fulfills committed work hours to meet the requirements of clients, employees and the company during normal business hours and across standard business days (Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm in your time zone) and during non-standard hours (evenings, nights, weekends and holidays) as needed. Use of the company-provided phone or Google Voice number when out of office to maintain availability and assist with the expected response time, within four business hours of call, email or request for assistance

Requirements:
- At least five (5) years of CIBMTR Data Manager experience
- Previous experience performing validation reviews or other work experience relating to Quality Control/Validation
- Successful completion of the Registry Partners pre-employment Skills Assessment Exam for assigned specialty area(s)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, industry related program data management specifications manuals, data abstraction software systems and electronic medical record applications
- Excellent communication, documentation, organization and planning skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Previous experience with CIBMTR/FACT audits
- Bachelor Degree in Health Information Management, Nursing or related field
- Exposure to quality improvement concepts and processes
- Ability to analyze, interpret and display data
