About this role
R2 Global is a well-established North American manufacturer seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst III to support and enhance its Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations platform. This role will bridge Operations and IT, focusing on optimizing business processes and ensuring alignment with organizational standards.
Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of several critical manufacturing and supply chain functions within D365 F&O, including:
- Production Planning
- Shop Floor Scheduling
- Procurement & Purchasing
- Production and Manufacturing Reporting
- You'll assess existing business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement practical solutions that enhance productivity, data accuracy, compliance, and operational control
- Act as the primary functional resource for users across Mexico operations
- Troubleshoot process and configuration-related issues within D365 F&O
- Recommend and coordinate enhancements that improve business performance
- Develop and maintain process documentation, workflows, and support materials
- Promote standardized processes and system usage across multiple locations
- Collaborate directly with operational leadership, finance teams, distribution stakeholders, and IT resources
- Facilitate discovery sessions and business workshops
- Convert operational requirements into clearly defined functional specifications
- Evaluate proposed solutions and communicate associated impacts, benefits, and risks
- Lead testing efforts for system enhancements and projects
- Develop comprehensive test scripts and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Validate that delivered solutions meet business expectations
- Support training initiatives and adoption programs to ensure successful change management and user engagement
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience supporting ERP solutions as a Business Analyst, Functional Consultant, or similar role
- Experience working within manufacturing and distribution organizations
- Fluency in both English and Spanish
- Strong understanding of business processes and their translation into ERP functionality
- Proven ability to work directly with operational stakeholders at all levels
- Practical experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
- Practical experience with manufacturing and supply chain processes
- Practical experience with master data management
- Practical experience with workflow and approval configuration
- Practical experience with security role administration
- Practical experience with functional solution design
- Practical experience with business process mapping
- Experience using Azure DevOps (or equivalent tools) to manage project delivery
- Experience with user story creation
- Experience with backlog management
- Experience with acceptance criteria development
- Experience with defect tracking
- Experience with change request management
- Experience with UAT coordination
- Experience with end-to-end requirements traceability
- Experience supporting complex multi-site or multi-entity ERP environments
- Exposure to audit, compliance, and internal control requirements
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data for decision-making
- Experience with Excel, Power BI, ERP reporting, and KPI tracking
- Ability to measure the effectiveness of process improvements through reporting and metrics
