ISCC – International Sustainability and Carbon Certification is a leading certification system for sustainability and greenhouse gas emissions reduction. They are seeking a Marketing & Communications Manager to develop and optimize their email marketing strategies, manage communication plans, and support the evolution of their marketing strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and optimising ISCC’s email marketing strategy and processes using Mailchimp
- Managing and continuously improving audience structures, segmentation, tagging, templates, and automations
- Designing and implementing scalable newsletter and lifecycle email strategies for different stakeholder groups
- Planning and executing targeted email campaigns, newsletters, and automated journeys
- Defining clear use cases for marketing, informational, and operational email communication
- Ensuring consistent, compliant, and efficient use of email marketing tools across the organisation
- Monitoring, analysing, and reporting email marketing performance and KPIs
- Continuously optimising email marketing performance based on data, testing, and stakeholder feedback
- Collaborating with internal teams to improve targeting, data quality, and campaign relevance
- Developing and implementing communication plans aligned with organisational priorities
- Managing and further developing ISCC’s website content strategy with a strong audience focus
- Supporting the evolution of ISCC’s overall communications and marketing strategy
- Identifying new communication opportunities, channels, digital trends, and tools
Requirements:
- University degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- At least 3 years of professional experience in marketing or communications
- Strong expertise in email marketing, newsletter management, and marketing automation (ideally Mailchimp)
- Excellent copywriting and digital communication skills
- Very good understanding of digital communication tools and analytics
- Excellent English skills (at least C1, written and spoken) and good German skills (at least B2, written and spoken)
- Experience with CMS platforms is an advantage
- Basic understanding of certification systems and EU regulatory context is a plus
