IP Recruiter Group is a highly regarded IP firm that is looking for a patent attorney, patent agent, or patent agent trainee with a strong technical background in engineering. The role involves preparing and prosecuting patents while supporting various practice needs in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation and prosecution of patents for domestic and foreign clients
• Supporting practice needs in patentability opinions
• Supporting practice needs in infringement opinions
• Supporting practice needs in freedom to operate opinions
• Supporting practice needs in portfolio strategy and management
• Supporting practice needs in due diligence
• Supporting practice needs in Patent Trial and Appeal Board issues

Requirements:

• Minimum BS Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related
• Must have solid understanding of complex AI/ML
• Must have at least 1 year of full-time claim drafting and prosecutions experience
• Demonstrated for producing high-quality patents relating to complex related technologies
• Solid communication interpersonal skills for client interaction
• State bar and USPTO bar
