Senior Product Manager – Universal KYC (MetaMask Passport)

Consensys is the leading blockchain and web3 software company. The Senior Product Manager for Universal KYC will define the vision and roadmap for a reusable identity layer across MetaMask, focusing on building scalable verification standards and enhancing user experience while ensuring compliance.

Responsibilities:

• You will own the vision and roadmap for Universal KYC and MetaMask Passport, defining how a reusable identity layer unlocks the broader MetaMask product stack
• You will build the underlying identity platform, creating scalable verification primitives and standards that can be adopted across products
• In parallel, you will design a seamless, low-friction KYC experience that reduces time-to-first-transaction while maintaining compliance integrity
• You will drive adoption across MetaMask by partnering closely with internal teams to integrate a consistent identity layer, while balancing privacy, trust, and global regulatory requirements
• Throughout, you will lead execution end-to-end, aligning cross-functional teams and delivering measurable outcomes

Requirements:

• Proven experience building or scaling identity verification (IDV), KYC, or onboarding products
• Strong background in fintech, ideally with exposure to Web3
• Hands-on experience working with identity verification providers (IDV vendors) such as Sumsub, Veriff, Onfido, Persona, or Stripe Identity
• Familiarity with compliance workflows, including KYC, KYB, and customer due diligence (CDD) processes
• Track record of delivering platform products adopted across multiple teams
• Ability to operate across both technical systems and user experience
