Business Systems Analyst

Georgia IT, Inc. is seeking a Business Systems Analyst with strong data analysis experience to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technology teams. The role involves gathering requirements, analyzing workflows, and supporting system enhancements within a financial services environment.

Responsibilities:

• Gather, document, and translate business requirements into functional specifications
• Analyze workflows, data flows, and system processes to identify improvements
• Collaborate with business users, developers, and project teams throughout the SDLC
• Create process documentation, workflows, and design materials for technical and business audiences
• Perform data analysis using SQL and BI/reporting tools (Qlik Sense preferred)
• Support test planning, test case creation, execution, and defect tracking
• Validate reports, system configurations, and data accuracy
• Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide user training
• Manage project documentation, issues, and communication across teams

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, preferably within Financial Services, Private Banking, or Investment Management
• Strong experience gathering requirements and working with business and technical teams
• Hands-on experience with SQL, data analysis, reporting, and data validation
• Experience with SDLC methodologies (Waterfall and Agile)
• Ability to create workflows, functional documents, and test plans
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with BI tools such as Qlik Sense
• Experience with financial systems
