Diverse Lynx is a company seeking a Senior Software Engineer to take on the role of a seasoned architect within a hybrid work environment. The position involves designing scalable enterprise solutions in the healthcare domain, utilizing technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka, while enhancing operational efficiency and driving organizational growth.
Responsibilities:
- Design end to end application architectures using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Kafka, Spark, and Linux environments to support complex capitation based healthcare processing with high reliability and performance
- Define and evolve architectural standards that apply proven design patterns to ensure modularity, maintainability, and consistent implementation across multiple engineering teams and projects
- Collaborate with product owners and business stakeholders to translate capitation domain requirements into clear architectural blueprints that guide development and testing activities
- Guide engineering teams on best practices for microservice oriented designs including integration patterns, data flows, and deployment strategies optimized for hybrid work models
- Review solution designs and technical specifications to ensure compliance with security, scalability, resiliency, and regulatory expectations within healthcare and payer ecosystems
- Optimize application and infrastructure configurations on Linux platforms to achieve predictable performance, resource efficiency, and stable operations for capitation payment workflows
- Building agents powered by large language models (LLMs), further strengthening innovative solution development in the healthcare domain
- Coordinate with cross functional teams such as data analysts and operations specialists to architect solutions that improve accuracy and timeliness of capitation calculations and settlements
- Provide architectural oversight during implementation by validating code structures, integration logic, and configuration decisions against defined design patterns and standards
- Assess existing systems for technical debt and architectural risks then propose remediation strategies that enhance stability, reduce defects, and improve long term maintainability
- Architect interfaces and data models that can seamlessly support provider data management capabilities ensuring consistency and integrity of provider information across systems
- Evaluate new tools, frameworks, and infrastructure options relevant to Java and Spring ecosystems then recommend adoption approaches that align with organizational strategy and cost effectiveness
- Prepare and present architectural documentation such as diagrams, decision records, and migration plans that clearly communicate solution direction to both technical and nontechnical partners
- Mentor developers and solution designers by sharing practical guidance on applying design patterns, handling capitation domain complexities, and leveraging Spring features effectively
