Mockingbird is a DTC-first baby gear brand known for creating thoughtfully designed products and providing exceptional customer service. The Growth Marketing Manager will own the performance of paid social channels, primarily Meta and TikTok, and will be responsible for analyzing data, developing creative strategies, and optimizing campaign performance.
Responsibilities:
- Own day-to-day performance across our paid social channels — primarily Meta and TikTok — plus oversight of a handful of other smaller channels
- Dig into campaign data daily: analyze trends in key metrics like click-through rates and conversion rates, and build a clear narrative on where to focus and why
- Become a subject matter expert on different account structures, campaign setups, testing methodologies, and stay up to date on all the latest changes in Meta and TikTok Ads Manager
- Own your creative output — you’ll be responsible for ensuring you’re getting the volume, velocity, and variety of creative you need for your channels to be successful. You’ll have support here, but you’ll still be expected to roll up your sleeves and write briefs, draft copy, edit videos, etc. as needed
- Develop a sharp vision for our creative pipeline — staying deeply curious about what resonates with our customer, understanding fast-moving trends, and translating what’s working for other brands
- Track and report on channel performance, translating trends into clear narrative and recommendations
- Use AI tools to work more efficiently — whether that's building prioritization workflows, generating ad variations, or shortcutting research
Requirements:
- You're comfortable in data and you know what to do with it. You can orient quickly, figure out where to focus, and turn numbers into a clear point of view
- When something isn't working, you don't wait for someone to hand you the answer. You generate ideas, think from the customer's perspective, and test your way toward better results
- You're a strong writer and a self-sufficient creative. You can develop concepts and write ad copy on your own
- You can communicate your thinking clearly. Whether you're briefing a collaborator or presenting a recommendation, people understand your point of view and why you hold it
- You've done something — a job, a project, a way of working — that trained you to think rigorously and creatively at the same time
- You're curious about AI and already experimenting & succeeding in leveraging it to do better work, not just faster work
