About this role
Ondo Finance is a company focused on providing institutional-grade, blockchain-enabled investment products and services. The Product Designer will design products that allow private clients and investors to access and manage sophisticated financial instruments, blending strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
Responsibilities:
- Translate complex financial concepts and user needs into intuitive, trustworthy product experiences
- Design end-to-end flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI for web and mobile
- Contribute to (and at senior level, drive) product strategy alongside Product and Engineering
- Build on and evolve our design system, including documentation and tooling
- Partner with Engineering through implementation to ensure quality and accuracy
- Define design success metrics and measure the impact of your work
Requirements:
- 3+ years of product design experience designing web or mobile products, with experience shipping fintech, trading, investing, or banking products strongly preferred
- High-bar UI and interaction design; your portfolio shows end-to-end systems and polish, not single screens
- You make dense, regulated, high-stakes financial information feel simple and trustworthy
- Ability to design scalable, cohesive experiences by considering how individual features fit into the broader product ecosystem and design system
- You enjoy building strong cross-functional partnerships and are able to effectively influence decisions across Product, Engineering, and other project stakeholders
- You thrive in a remote, low-oversight environment and can communicate your design thinking clearly to Product, Engineering, and leadership
- You frame the problem before the solution, connect design decisions to business outcomes, and can push back on scope
- You take work from discovery through flows, high-fidelity design, engineering handoff, and shipping
- You love to learn new domains and seek to understand complex concepts. You treat mistakes as chances to learn; quick to be wrong, quick to pivot
- AI workflows or AI-usage in the product design process
- Fintech/financial product experience
- Direct experience in crypto (DeFi, exchanges, wallets, stablecoins, tokenization/RWAs, custody, or onchain analytics)
- Experimentation and metrics fluency (A/B testing, data-driven design)
- Familiarity with collaborating with user research
- Contribution to or management of design systems
