AI Engineer - Product Development x2

Aventis Solutions is partnering with a fast-growing AI and technology scale-up in the US to appoint AI Engineers. This role involves building product development and data foundations for intelligent applications and enterprise AI platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Build scalable data pipelines
• Optimise AI-ready datasets
• Support model development
• Help create robust engineering foundations for the company's growing AI ecosystem

Requirements:

• Experience developing or supporting AI-powered applications, intelligent automation, LLM integrations, or enterprise AI platforms
• Strong experience building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, data lakes, modern data platforms, and AI-ready data architectures
• Strong Python development skills with experience in SQL and exposure to Java, Scala, Go, or similar technologies advantageous
• Experience designing and deploying solutions across AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or multi-cloud environments
• Experience working with Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift, Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, or similar technologies
• Understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), RAG architecture, embeddings, vector databases, semantic search, and AI knowledge systems
• Experience supporting Data Science teams through feature engineering, model deployment, MLOps, or data preparation workflows
• Strong understanding of APIs, cloud-native applications, automation, CI/CD, and scalable engineering principles
• Knowledge of structured and unstructured data, governance, quality, lineage, security, and enterprise data standards
• Comfortable working alongside AI Engineers, Data Scientists, Product Managers, Software Engineers, and business stakeholders
• Passion for emerging AI technologies with the curiosity to continually improve platforms, processes, and engineering standards
