Software Engineer, Backend

Glue is building the first platform for agentic team chat, enabling collaboration between AI agents and humans. They are looking for a backend engineer to lead efforts in preparing the product for launch, focusing on service architecture, APIs, and team culture.

Responsibilities:

• Designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend systems
• Identify system bottlenecks and optimize with simple, maintainable solutions
• Define, implement, and test API endpoints and prototype implementations
• Focus on the end user experience
• Architect projects appropriately and make tradeoffs based on project maturity
• Prioritize immediate outcomes needed
