CVP is an award-winning healthcare and technology consulting firm seeking a Lead Project Manager in Pharmacogenomics to support a federal healthcare initiative. The role involves leading the implementation of pharmacogenomics programs across multiple sites, coordinating with diverse stakeholders to enhance genomic medicine integration and improve patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Lead project management of pharmacogenomics implementation workstreams, including planning, coordination, execution, and performance monitoring across multiple sites
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, implementation roadmaps, risk registers, and status reports for pharmacogenomics activities
- Coordinate across clinical, laboratory, informatics, and operational stakeholders to ensure integrated and compliant pharmacogenomics program delivery
- Serve as the primary point of contact for pharmacogenomics-related stakeholder engagement, including clinical leadership, genomics staff, and federal program sponsors
- Establish performance metrics, data tracking frameworks, and outcome measurement protocols for pharmacogenomics workstreams
- Identify and manage implementation risks, dependencies, and barriers across multi-site deployment activities
- Support development of program documentation, clinical guidelines, training materials, and briefing content related to pharmacogenomics implementation
- Collaborate with the Lead PM and cross-functional teams to ensure pharmacogenomics activities align with broader program objectives
- Contribute to change management and clinical adoption strategies to support successful pharmacogenomics integration
- Mentor and support junior project management staff supporting pharmacogenomics activities
Requirements:
- Master of Science (MS) in Pharmacy or related discipline required (Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Genomics, or related field)
- 5+ years of experience leading pharmacogenomics or precision medicine program implementation, preferably in a multi-site or federal healthcare environment
- Strong understanding of pharmacogenomics science, clinical application, and laboratory operations
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-site implementation programs with diverse stakeholder groups
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across clinical, technical, and administrative audiences
- Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance; U.S. Citizenship required
- Experience within VA, HHS, or other federal healthcare system environments
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or relevant genomics/pharmacy certification (e.g., CGMBS)
- Familiarity with EHR integration, clinical decision support tools, and health informatics platforms relevant to pharmacogenomics
