Software Engineer

OncoHealth is a leading digital health company dedicated to helping health plans, employers, providers, and patients navigate the complexities of cancer through technology-enabled services. The Software Engineer will work in an agile environment, designing, coding, testing, deploying, and debugging complex software applications while leveraging AI tools to enhance development and delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Develop software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle
• Perform validation and verification testing
• Participate in on-call rotations including weekends
• Actively use AI tools such as Copilot and Claude for coding, debugging, and testing
• Drive adoption of AI-first engineering practices across the team

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant experience required
• At least 6 years of experience in software engineering or relevant educational attainment required
• Advanced knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure preferred), working knowledge of No-SQL or SQL databases
• Proficient in C#.NET, React or Angular
• Experience with Agile or Scrum methodology
• Analyzing information, software design, software documentation, and testing are required skills, as well as general programming skills and software development fundamentals, development process, and requirements
• Systems/Tools: MS Office advance, Azure DevOps, or Jira
• Experience with enterprise workflow platforms
• Familiarity with CI/CD and Azure DevOps
• Exposure to AI-driven development workflows
